Hilary Duff’s little one has arrived!

The Lizzie McGuire alum, 36, has welcomed her fourth baby, her third with husband Matthew Koma, on Friday, May 3, she announced on Instagram Tuesday. Sharing photos of her home water birth, the actress took a moment to honor her newborn daughter in her caption.

“Townes Meadow Bair 🧸 , now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!” Duff wrote. “I Have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic.”

“We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty. 5/3/24,” the newly minted mom of four wrote in her caption.

The couple share daughters Mae James, 2½, and Banks Violet, 5, and co-parent Duff’s oldest, Luca Cruz, 11, with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie.

Duff announced on Instagram that she was expecting her third child with Koma in December 2023 in her family’s Christmas card, which featured a photo of her cradling her stomach.

“So much for silent nights. Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew,” the front of the card read, while the back confirmed the news: “Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch!”

Duff loves the “mayhem” of raising three kids, she told PEOPLE in a 2021 interview shortly after welcoming Mae.

“I have help, but babies just want their mom,” she said at the time. “Even Luca is still like, ‘Mom, Mom, Mom.’ Mom cooks the thing the right way, and Mom packs the bag the right way. It’s crazy.”

The “Come Clean” singer” also said that she is “so in love with all my kids” — and the busyness that comes with it.

“I love when everyone’s full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your kid’s going to say,” she told PEOPLE. “We’re in the thick of it, and it feels good.”

Hilary Duff is embracing family time before welcoming her fourth baby.

On Friday, April 26, the Lizzie McGuire alum, 36, shared a series of photos on her Instagram with her family of five. In one sweet photo, the pregnant star wears a pink shirt bunched up to reveal her belly, sitting next to son Luca and holding hands with husband Matthew Koma, 36.

Next to Luca, daughter Banks Violet, 5, sits with her hands on the ground, wearing her hair in adorable bows. On the other side of Koma, the couple’s daughter Mae James, 3, stands, wearing a white dress.

Other photos show the family of five throughout the year, spending time at a beach, celebrating birthdays and posing together at Christmas.

“Some random pics of the 5 of us before that changes foreverrrrr,” Duff wrote in her caption.

Last week, Duff shared a message to her followers, asking them to respect her privacy as she gets ready to welcome her fourth baby.

The actress posted a message on her Instagram Stories as she approaches her due date, writing, “Hi friends — this is meant in the kindest tone (I promise) … I am no longer responding to texts or dm’s about ‘when baby is coming.’ ”

“I know everyone is checking in with love and humor, however, trust me…nobody wants it more than me!!!!! Babies come when they are ready. I am trying my best to be patient!” she continued. “The days are long and uncomfortable. Promise I will let you know. ❤️.”

Hilary Duff is nearing the end of her pregnancy with her fourth baby, and she’s pretty much done with the whole thing. She recently shared an update, admitting that she’s ready to give her baby an “eviction notice” by using acupuncture. She’s being gentle with her eviction notice, to be fair, but ultimately Duff is just ready to stop being pregnant.

The Lizzie McGuire star, who is mom to 11-year-old son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie along with two daughters, 5-year-old Banks and 3-year-old Mae with husband Matthew Koma, announced she was expecting her fourth baby in December with a family Christmas card. While she did not share her due date or the sex of the baby at the time, Duff already had a baby bump and appeared to be a few months into her pregnancy. Now it is April, four months later, and Duff said she is enjoying a “slow week” while also trying out acupuncture in an effort to “gently trying to give baby the eviction notice,” as she shared on Instagram on Tuesday. Acupuncture is believed to potentially help induce labor as a “complimentary therapy,” according to the National Library of Medicine, and could help with “cervical ripening.”

If Duff’s next post is a birth announcement, I guess that will mean this acupuncture worked.

It looks like Duff is doubling down on trying to induce labor, in fact. Her second photo was a partially-eaten salad, and some of her followers wondered if this might be the special labor-inducing salad from Caioti Pizza Cafe in Studio City, California. That famous salad, which is made with a mix of romaine, watercress, walnuts, and gorgonzola, with a herb-balsamic vinaigrette, is rumored to induce labor.

Either way, Duff’s followers approve of her methods. “I’m an acupuncturist and have been called in to birth centers and homes all the time to get those babes OUT!” wrote one follower. “That salad got my daughter out in less than 48hrs. Sending those vibes your way,” wrote another.

As much as Duff wants to have that baby and be done with her pregnancy, she is also savoring these final days of being able to seek out some peace and quiet. She took to her Instagram Story to share a photo alongside a Cadillac, which she has been driving around to enjoy “the peace and quiet these last few weeks.”

This is not Duff’s first rodeo, she knows how much life is about to change. With or without an eviction notice.
